Beautiful... (Australia x reader) Part 2

Your POV

The bus ride didn’t take as long as I had expected. I thought we were headed to Alice Springs, which is on the complete opposite side of Northern Territory from Darwin. We stopped at a hotel and Jack told me to come along.

As we got off I asked, “I thought we were headed to Alice Springs?”

“Yes, sheila, but it’s too late today for a long bus ride to there, yeh?” he replied casually.

“Yes, that's true.” I yawned.

“Here. Follow me.” He gestured towards the building.

As we arrived the ok-sized room I saw there were two decent sized beds, a TV, a phone, a commode₍₁₎, a huge mirror, and a big window.

I walked over to the bed and set down my bag on the mattress as Luna jumped on it to take a nap, and Taz clung onto my shoulder. I proceeded to walk over to the window and look out the curtains just a little. As I looked out I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

THUMP

“AHHH! BLOODY HELL!!”

I whipped my head around to see Jack had stubbed his toe pretty hard against the bed frame. I quickly walked over to see if he was okay.

Jack’s POV

Dammit, she had me so hypnotized I couldn’t see where I was going?? I thought to myself as I rubbed and held my aching throbbing foot.

“Are you okay, Jack?” I looked up to see the concerned sheila staring at me.

“Uhm…” Before I could say anything she sat down next to me and studied my foot. She rubbed it so gently with her soft hands.

“Tell me where exactly it hurts.” She said as she added just a tad more pressure to each spot before stopping in the middle of my foot, where I let out a painful groan. “Try to move it?” she asked. And I tried but I couldn’t really…

“It could be sprained or broken but do you want to go to a doctor to be sure?” She asked.

“S-sure.” I stuttered… it was already late and I didn’t want to keep her up any later, for there was a big day of traveling ahead of us. BUT THIS HURT LIKE HELL!!

*mini time skip teehee*

The doc ran an X-ray over my injured foot and it was only sprained, which is better than it being broken, but still had to limp for a while. (F/n) supported my other side as if she was a crutch. To my surprise compared to her short figure, she’s quite strong.

“Hey, (F/n), are you hungry? I can order some room service if you’d li-“ I was interrupted by a low growl in (F/n)’s belly. She stopped walking and clutched it to keep from doing so. “I take that as a yes.” I grinned. She blushed that cute blush. “No worries sheila…” I looked at her.

She smiled and said “I really have to thank you for doing all this for me… especially since you hardly know me…” She turned to me and kissed my cheek, almost making me faint at the sudden contact. She blushed and looked down quickly. “I’m s-sorry… I didn’t mean to-“

“N-no!... I don’t mind…” I smiled softly to her.

*’nother mini time skip*

Once we had finished our food, we were getting ready to go to sleep. (F/n) changed into a big dark red t-shirt that just brushed her mid thigh and black cotton shorts underneath.

I stepped out of the bathroom and said “Shower’s open if you want.” I caught her as she was struggling to brush her hair a bit.

“T-that’s okay, I’ll take my shower in the morning before we head out. OW!” she replied as she was wresting a knot. Needless to say, I was worried so I walked up behind her to take the brush from her hands and started to untangle the knot for her, gently.

“Y-you don’t have to do that for me…” she told me.

“Nah, I had to help my little sister all the time.” I said as I stroked her silky (h/l) hair. So soft I just wanted to bury my face into it all through the night…

After I had finished gently brushing her hair and looked at it through the mirror. “T-thank you, Jacky.” She responded with a sheepish smile.

"No problem, love- G-g’night!” I quickly cut myself off as I headed of the my bed and she rested in hers.

She giggled that angelic giggle once more and said “Sweet dreams…”
